Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (309) 265-1296. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, brienzospizza.com.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 730 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Peoria.
Peoria is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Peoria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Service was great! Canβt say I loved the pizza. Flavor was decent but itβs definitely not woodfired pizza, it has to be gas fired and not cooked at that high of temps. Woodfired pizza is an art that not many pizza joints do anymore but hats off to the ones that do. The bottom of the pizza wasnβt crisp, it was super thin, more soft and chewy, floppy, almost soggy, perhaps undercooked. The pizza crust didnβt have the rustic charming char like woodfired/brick oven pizzas typically have, barely crispy, definitely more chewy than crispy. Wings were expensive, but they were delicious. Not sure Iβd come back but I really wanted to try it!

Passing thru on business and saw Gelato on the menu. I was disappointed. I sat the bar and ordered wings to start off. The wings came out in a styrofoam carry out tray with bill. Iβm like you got to be kidding. The wings were burned on a few but I ate them, i didnβt order any more but told gelato to go. He brought out 2 cups and not to go. Oh boyo, not sure what his issues were. The desert was very good. Not sure about adding 3% and then offer to remove if you complainβ¦.bad practice from my perspective i hope they make!!.

We ordered carryout at Brienzo's Pizza at this location, for the first time, after getting a promo sent to my phone. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and a garden salad. The salad was actually the highlight for meβthe ranch, croutons, and cucumbers were all really good. The pizza, however, was lacking barbecue sauce, so the flavor just didnβt quite hit for me. I have however have the buffalo chicken ranch pizza at the other location and that tasted great! The location itself is really nice and feels brand new. When you walk into the "takeout" door to pick up your order, thereβs a cheese vault to the right, which was pretty cool (I added a picture of it). There also seems to be a lot more seating here compared to the Peoria Heights location. There's alot of space and seating. Overall, it was still a good dinner, and Iβd come back againβjust probably not for the barbecue chicken pizza.

Awesome place. Great service. Food is excellent. Best beer cheese I've ever had in my life! Same with the bread sticks. I could order 20 bread sticks and a bucket of the beer cheese and be happy. Wings and pizza are also delicious. I had the the BBQ chicken πwe will definitely be back.
